Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT)

In order to be eligible for paramedical courses you will need to complete your 12th in science stream with biology. You can pursue a paramedical course soon after the completion of high school. Candidates can apply for entry-level jobs in the field of health care. Your paramedical course admission process begins after you complete your 12th. Do note that graduation isn’t mandatory to be eligible for a course in paramedics. This is the reason why more youngsters are opting for paramedical courses in India. What Is DMLT

  • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) is a branch of Paramedical Science that deals with diagnosing and treating various ailments
  • It is the science of analysis of human fluids like pericardial fluid, peritoneal fluid, pericardial fluid, urine, blood samples, and other specimens.
  • The course is an entry-level program designed to impart the knowledge of inspecting, testing, and identifying various diseases.
  • It is a two-year program where students are exposed to in-depth knowledge of Biochemistry, Pathology, Blood Bank, Microbiology.
  • Apart from this, students are also trained to use laboratory equipment and technologies
  • The course enables you to do all kinds of testing required to diagnose a disease. The program is mainly designed to fill the space of lab professionals


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Applications can be submitted either online or offline by visiting the college
  • The minimum qualification required for this course is 12th with a minimum of 40% aggregate some institutions conduct common entrance tests for admissions into the program.
  • Candidate working in Hospitals, Labs can also apply.
  • No age limit for candidate to pursue DMLT
